Thankful For 10 Years Of Bliss & Admiration

As I sit here and watch my youngest daughter pull her own pumpkin from the ground I am overwhelmed with thankfulness. We celebrated ten years of mairrage this year. Looking out at our beautiful farm as the littles trample about within their own realm. I'm thankful for the direction the Lord has chosen for my life. I'm thankful for the health and happiness that each one of my four children find within their own hearts. I'm thankful for a family whose blood bonds us thicker than water.  I'm especially thankful for the family I married into that bond may not be by blood, whose love is equally as strong.  I look at my love, my soul mate, the one that God had chosen for me before I even knew myself. Especially after reading a sweet note he so thoughtfully expressed his love for me, I'll forever wear on my heart. Just as I do the earth of this farm.

I am truly thankful for you, Matthew my love.  I love and adore you for life! Get on that plane and come home to me! Thank you for this special note, It made my last 10 years!

The almond shape of the deep brown windows to her soul.

The wit of the writings I wait for her to finish.

To imagine the dimple of her right cheek was   there at four

Lost in the berry bushes of Oregon long before

The "genetic mutant"  (I say this as earnest compliment)

bore three more with their own three sets of almonds.

Through her not from her the ink will say

 But nay for without her there is not "they" 

 I love most by her side

 whether for an Oscar movie or simple RV ride.
